Transplant the seedlings into 10 cm (4 inches) pots filled with multipurpose compost, ensuring the soil is firm and well-watered. By mid-May, begin hardening off the plants by exposing them outdoors during the day and bringing them indoors at night. Once all risk of frost has passed, plant them in their final positions.
